Shopping, an aquarium or the tower?
Shopping, the aquarium and an observation-deck visit can each become a substantial outing. Decide which matters most before buying a bundle. Compare the individual tickets with what you would actually use.
For a short visit, pick a meeting point and a section of the mall. A shopping list is more useful than trying to cover every floor.
When to visit
An indoor visit fits the hottest part of a summer day. In cooler months, we would spend the morning outdoors and come here for lunch or a booked activity. If you prefer a quieter experience, try an earlier weekday visit, while remembering that holidays and events can change the pattern.
Use the mall’s current directory and opening information for a particular shop or attraction. Mall access, restaurant hours and the last admission to an attraction are separate schedules.
Keep the rest of the day nearby
Book Burj Khalifa on the same day if both are on your list. Allow a separate window for the walk from the station, rather than scheduling the observation deck immediately after your train arrives.
A Marina dinner means another journey across Dubai. For this day, staying in Downtown usually gives you more time to enjoy the places you came to see.
