The dam and Wadi Hub are separate stops
Hatta Dam offers managed boating activities. Wadi Hub has adventure activities and access to outdoor pursuits, with different operators responsible for different experiences. Check the age, height and equipment requirements for your chosen activity.
The official Hatta site also lists Heritage Village and the Honeybee Garden & Discovery Center. They can give a family day variety without requiring another strenuous activity.
Check the activity, not just the destination
We would plan an outdoor Hatta trip in the cooler months and start early. Some activities run beyond the main resort season, while individual accommodation and activity schedules can differ. Do not assume “Hatta is open” means every activity is operating.

Give the mountains a full day
Travel by a planned road transfer or car, and arrange the return journey. Choose a UAE-only route if you are not planning an Oman crossing. Hatta is an alternative day in our seven-day itinerary. For a slower trip, replace another outing with an overnight stay instead of adding more driving.
