Sort the route before the bookings
Use a car or arranged transfers for the multi-emirate portion. Confirm rental conditions, permitted roads and parking before choosing accommodation. This is a UAE route; keep your navigation on UAE roads unless you have separately planned an international crossing.
For the Dubai portion, Metro, taxis and booked transfers can be simpler than keeping a car throughout. Travellers who do not want to drive can keep Dubai and Abu Dhabi as two bases and book selected excursions, removing the northern loop. That is a different, slower version of the trip.
Days 1–4: Dubai
Use one day for the Creek and souks, one for Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, one for Marina and JBR or the Palm, and one for a desert outing.
This is a shorter Dubai stay than the five-day plan. Choose Marina or the Palm if your days are filling up. If camel racing is a priority, confirm the Al Marmoom schedule and reorganise around that morning.

Days 5–7: Abu Dhabi
Travel to Abu Dhabi on day 5 and keep the mosque as the main visit. Use day 6 for Louvre Abu Dhabi and a slower Saadiyat afternoon, or substitute Qasr Al Watan. Day 7 is for Yas Island or a Jubail mangrove outing.
Choose the third day according to your interests. It can also be a rest day. Do not add Sir Bani Yas to this city stay without arranging separate travel and accommodation.

Day 8: Al Ain
Travel to Al Ain and choose an oasis walk and one fort or museum. A Jebel Hafit drive is optional if there is enough daylight and energy. Stay overnight rather than driving straight through to the east coast.
If the oasis is your priority, reach Al Ain the previous evening or move the walk to early day 9. That reduces the programme for the following day, which is preferable to walking at an uncomfortable time simply to keep a timetable.

Days 9–10: Fujairah and Khorfakkan
Use day 9 for travel and a modest Fujairah heritage or coastal visit. On day 10, choose Khorfakkan and Al Rafisah, or a booked sea activity and an easy afternoon. Stay in one east-coast hotel for both nights.
Shees can replace another stop if the mountains appeal. Read the wadi guide before planning any valley walk. Wadi Wurayah is not included because it is normally closed to the public.
Days 11–12: Ras Al Khaimah
Travel to Ras Al Khaimah in daylight. Use the rest of day 11 for one coastal or heritage stop, such as Jazirat Al Hamra. Give day 12 to the Jebel Jais mountain road and a booked activity if you want one.
Dhayah Fort can replace another heritage stop. It does not need to be added to the end of a long mountain day. Keep the outdoor schedule flexible for weather and access conditions.

Days 13–14: smaller coastal stops, then Sharjah
On day 13, choose an Umm Al Quwain mangrove outing or Al Zorah in Ajman. Both may fit geographically, but two water activities are not necessary. Add a museum or a relaxed meal instead. Stay in Ajman or Sharjah.
Use day 14 for Heart of Sharjah and one art or lagoon stop, then return to Dubai. Sleep near the part of Dubai that suits your next day’s departure. If you fly on day 14, remove the Sharjah sightseeing and prioritise the airport journey.
What to swap, rather than add
Mleiha can replace a Dubai desert excursion or one east-coast day. Liwa needs a more substantial change: exchange some northern nights for a desert stay. Hatta can replace another mountain outing.
This loop is best suited to the cooler part of the year. In summer, reduce the outdoor circuit and give more time to indoor city visits and rest. The aim is to enjoy the places you choose, not to tick off all seven emirates at any cost.
